A benefactor is a person who is accustomed to good deeds and strives to use possible means for goodness, help others. Kindness is a profession that everyone should have… All deeds a person do from early ages is related to a goal or reason. The main reasons for being benevolent are:
- The feeling of humanity. Being human is related to humanity feelings – love, compassion, care, attention, sensitivity and so on. It is impossible not to be benevolent if a person realizes these feelings. Being beneficent is the most important reason to be human.
- Our faith. The first thing Islam taught us as Muslims is to do good, be helpful. In a hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The best person is that who is helpful.” “Help someone, even with a smile.” emphasizing that a smile is also a help.
- Regardless of nationality or origin, all moral values and rules of etiquette encourage one to help others, stay away from bad habits, and become accustomed to good deeds. To love a person is at the same time to help him whether by kind words, giving the right advice or by supporting him according to his needs… The point is to be an example to others with our sincerity and attitude…
- The culture of sharing is living with “The giver is better than the receiver” principle. Sharing is a very delicate culture and it is very important to have this culture on the path to perfection. It’s often easier to receive than to give. But if you think that everything we consider we have, including the breath we take is God’s grace to us and what we do for the sake of Allah will not go unrewarded, and the reward will definitely be received in some way… If we think about it, we will understand that it’s time to give…
- Everyone respects and loves a helpful person, his name leaves a mark on memories and history, and he wins the love of both God and people. And most importantly, a helpful person will have a helpful child. Everyone who has a child wants to see him as a good person; the example of the family is a major thing here. Children who grow up in the light of goodness will be generous persons. This is enough to be benevolent.
