Our departments

All information about the work of the PU is made available to the public and the benefactors from the very first day. The information that fully reflects our charitable projects, exhibitions and the addresses of ongoing and regular charity donations is provided as annual reports by the Department of Design and Information. To properly convey announcements and advertisements of ongoing and planning work to the public is also the responsibility of the department.

“Damla” Public Union has always been cooperating with government agencies in its work on the development and promotion of philanthropic culture. The active coverage of our activities in the media and the press helps to build relationships with all segments of society. The Public Relations Department is responsible for placing information about the PU in the press, social networks, websites and news portals, and establishing partnerships with relevant addresses. The materials for disseminating information about our activities to the public is also prepared by the department.

When we embarked on a mission to support orphans, we decided our duty is not just help them, but also show our love.

Once the social opportunities of children living with guardians or living parent have been clarified, we have begun to apply most beneficial – educational support according to the project “The hand you extend may return graciously to you one day”. We strive to provide the orphans from disadvantaged families participate in higher education preparatory courses, subject or training-based courses, and personal development programs with the support of the benefactors.

All these activities that help to bring these supported children as educated and dignified personalities for the Homeland, the Sate, are carried out by the Department for Work with Children Deprived Parental Care. One of the tasks of the Department is to prepare special events and organize new projects to attract the beneficiaries to aid projects that will make our world better.

Along with educational success of children under our care, they are being encouraged to participate in social activities to promote their socio-cultural development and worldview.

Working with low-income families is the most common activity of the “Damla” Public Union. This Department is responsible for providing targeted assistance to low-income families – the needy, the disabled, the sick, the elderly, and the students according to their needs. We are working to improve the social stance of the needy families by providing food, clothing and home appliances with philanthropic support. The hapiness of getting medical care instills in disadvantaged families a love of humanity, hope for the future, and belief in goodness.

The Public Union has been obliged and grateful to our volunteers for everything they have done from the very first day of its existence. The expansion and development of our work is closely related to increasing participation of volunteers around us.

The Department for Work with Volunteers constantly works on promotion of the culture of philanthropy, its foundations, history, social significance and its widespread application across all segments of society. The main goal of the Department is to educate young people about philanthropic culture and encourage them to join this activity.
